Arden are delighted to confirm that Young Racing Driver Academy member, Thomas Ikin, will race with the team in the 2021 British F4 Championship.
The 17-year-old from the Wirral has had a fair share of impressive showings across his karting career and having honed his preparations with the YRDA is now ready to make a jump to the British F4 stage.
Thomas has shown a huge degree of strength and maturity in testing with Arden and, it is clear that he is going to be pushing hard for some great results in 2021.
With the team around Thomas renowned for working with rookie drivers and transforming them into race winners, Ikin is sure to be targeting the podium in 2021 and will be pushing hard for the rookie title, and the team will also have all eyes set on reclaiming the team crown in 2021.
Looking ahead, the 2021 British F4 series will once again run along the BTCC and with live coverage on ITV4. Next year's calendar has already been revealed with the usual locations of Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Silverstone, Snetterton, Oulton Park, Croft, Knockhill and Thruxton featuring in the ten weekend season which will have a total of 30 rounds.
All giving Thomas plenty of time to get settled in and push for some big results towards the end of the season.
Having already tested the F4 car at several Championship circuits, the team have been delighted with Thomas’ potential.
Thomas now looks ahead to a busy testing schedule ahead of his debut in single seaters at Brands Hatch on the 3rd/4th April.

After 18 months of working with YRDA it is a great feeling to finally be able to put into practice all of my training in and out of the simulator with both Steve Hutchinson and Chris Ray, and progress into the Formula 4 team.
