VRD Racing by Arden welcomes back British driver James Hedley to race in the first two events of this year's GB3 Championship at Oulton Park and Silverstone, in the car that will be driven by Nikita Johnson from round 3 onwards.

Hedley raced with the team in the GB3 Championship in 2023, with a successful year placing sixth in the overall standings, and gaining wins at Oulton Park and Snetterton. He is also the 2019 Ginetta Junior champion and has competed in British F4 with nine wins.

Pre-season testing has been positive with Hedley placing third fastest at Silverstone, and with the hopes of more successful pre-race testing soon.

"James had a strong season with the team in 2023 and we have continued our close bond since then. We are delighted that James will drive for VRD Racing by Arden this weekend at Oulton Park and hopefully we can kick off this season in a similar fashion to the last."

This first round of the season begins next week at Oulton Park, 30th March - 1st April 2024.
