Arden Motorsport are looking to build on their successful 2020 British F4 campaign with further silverware at their ‘home’ circuit this weekend [26-27 September].
Title contender Alex Connor will be targeting a return to the podium after a difficult round last time out at Thruxton in which harsh luck denied him the results his pace deserved.
The 16-year-old – who already has one victory and a further four podiums to his name so far this season – demonstrated his fighting spirit at Thruxton with a sensational recovery drive from 12th to fourth in the final encounter, setting the fastest lap of the race in the process.
Donington Park race winner Connor, who currently sits a comfortable fifth in the Drivers’ standings, will be hoping to translate that blistering pace into a return to the rostrum this weekend.
Roman Bilinski secured his second podium of the 2020 season with a measured drive at Thruxton, progressing from eighth on the grid to bring home third position at the chequered flag.
Strong results in races one and three saw the Ginetta graduate collect a solid points haul in Hampshire, which he will be hoping to replicate at the similarly high-speed Silverstone circuit this weekend.
Rookie Frederick Lubin replicated his Rookie Cup success from Oulton Park by tallying up a further duo of category victories in the opening pair of races at Thruxton.
Closing the deficit in the class standings to just 32 points, the YRDA-backed racer will be hoping to further cut that gap in the trio of contests at Silverstone.
Competitive action at the Northamptonshire circuit is scheduled to get underway at 11:05 on Saturday with qualifying, followed by the opening race of the weekend that afternoon at 15:50.
Sunday sees a double-header of races to round out the weekend with races two and three set to start at 12:07 and 16:37 respectively, with all the action live on ITV’s free-to-air television coverage.
