Round 10 of the GP2 Series in Sepang, Malaysia saw Nabil Jeffri at his home circuit.

With the schedule having changed, Free Practice was held on Thursday afternoon. Jeffri finished the session in 18th (1:44.232), with a 1.880 gap to the leader.

During the dramatic Qualifying session, Jeffri set his best lap on his third lap, setting a 1:43.761. With a red flag with 3 minutes remaining, and then when the session restarted, a car spun on the last corner causing a yellow flag. Jeffri took the Chequered flag in 17th

During Race 1, Jeffri had a difficult start, dropping to 19th by the end of lap 1. Not allowing himself to loose focus, Jeffri regained his pace, and gained positions throughout the race. Jeffri took the Chequered flag in 18th place. 

Starting on the grid in 18th for Race 2, Jeffri was determined to take advantage of being infront of his home crowd, but unfortunately due to a collision with Armand causing a front puncture, the car had to be retired.

The next round of GP2 Series will take place at Abu Dhabi Yas Marina circuit for the final round on 25th – 27th November.
